ABOUT

Software developer and computer engineering student based in Türkiye. I strive to always deliver the best experience to end users. I love building apps people will actually use, primarily using web technologies, with a deep interest in systems programming on the flip side.

In 2022, I created Darkwrite, a free and open-source note taking application that initially started as a fun project. Today, it has over 300 stars on GitHub, with 4000+ total downloads. I’m still maintaining it, with a vision to keep it distraction-free and user-respecting.

I’ve been working on a hobby kernel since 2025, because this is where things get interesting. In web development, we take everything for granted, but I lose sleep on what makes it possible in the first place.

I’m studying the 2nd year of my major at Hacettepe University, Ankara. If you are too, let’s have coffee some time :)

arvence.com

2026
Astro | Figma

Designed and built the website & branding for a tech agency from scratch.

sorugram.app

2024 → 2025
Java | Spring Boot | Flyway | Docker Compose | GitHub Actions | Astro | PostgreSQL | nginx

Built Spring Boot backends for our student collaboration startup. I created our website as well, in addition to maintaining our server. Unfortunately, this project is now defunct.

My hobby kernel

2025 → ongoing
Raw C without a standard library. It's ring 0 :)

I had an obsession for years to build an operating system. This is the furthest I got yet: PML4 paging, PS/2 keyboard, a fixed-block heap allocator, ACPI table parsing, PCI enumeration, a custom test API, fancy logs in QEMU’s serial output. I work on it as I feel doing so. It’s open-source, obviously :)

Resource monitor with Qt6

2026
Qt6 Widgets | C++

Created this in a weekend to give Qt a try. Had lots of fun building it. Works on macOS and Linux.

Weather PWA

2024
React

First React app I finished (immediately after YKS). Fully responsive, installable on your phone as a Progressive Web App, supports both Turkish and English. It also caches weather data.

thanks for sticking till the end
